Even though I was born in Milwaukee, I have lived in many cities and towns around Wisconsin. My heart has never left this part of the state. I am exhilarated by the culture and the people who live in the Milwaukee area. Never have I found anywhere else that felt like home as much as Milwaukee does. Even though I was born here, I feel like I am constantly discovering something new about this city.
When I do find a rare day off, you will normally find me in Milwaukee, dining at a local restaurant and either at the Zoo or visiting one of the local humane societies. Yes, you can call me a crazy animal lady. (Though, so far, I’ve only brought two home.)
This blog is my attempt to satisfy the compulsion I always seem to have to write, and I’ve always been told to write about what you’re passionate about. Well, I’m passionate about the environment, animal welfare, good beer and great people- all of which can be found in this wonderful place we affectionately call Brew City.
